Beelzebob.
In a rundown decaying city over run with
crimes and disorder, magic and mayhem, every person/being has a darkness in
them but its what they choose that defines them. Some have more darkness than
others and those that do get assigned a personal demon, to ensure their decent
into that darkness and condemn their souls to the care of the Devil.
Lilith is one of the unfortunate few to
have ended up the Devils list. She holds the dark inside her at bay and the
devil cannot stand by and allow her to do this. So he assigns Beelzebob (bob)
as her personal demon to encourage her to accept and allow her darkness to
reign, thus causing more chaos. (the devils favorite past time)
Most can’t see their demons but Lili can… a
rare trait for mere humans and thus separates her as a supernatural. It is
unclear where her talents came from however it is apparent that she has a gift
At first Lili resists Bobs encouragements,
suggestions and tricks until one day one of his attempts/tricks to get her to
unleash her darkness gets her into trouble and she commits murder. It would
have been a straight plea of self defense had she been dealing with the human
justice system. But the stray from the straight and narrow gave the Devil just
enough to get involved on a personal level and takes her soul.
Script
concept/notes
One night when lili is at her lowest and
still manages to refuse her darkness bob appears… thinking she cant see him, he
sits on her chest (succubus style) while she sleeps trying to get into her
psyche. She wakes startled… a feeling of weight pushing down on her chest… to find
Beelzebob staring at her with menacing eyes. Shocked she knocks him off and
jumps away panicked and mumbling.
Lili
Wha…w-who…what-are
y-you?
Bob Is startled too, as no human has ever
seen him before and stares at her with wide eyes.
Lili meanwhile plucks up some courage and
moves towards him slightly. A confused and interested look upon her face.
Lili (mumble)
I
knew it… I’ve lost my mind… definitely hallucinating now.
Bob
You
can see me?
Lili’s eyes widen again
Lili
And hear you… god what is going on… I must
be insane.
Bob recovers quickly and becomes focused on
his job again.
He smiles
